who moved my cheese
Every educator must be flexible with all the changes. Those who are rigid and resist change , will always remain in "the comfort zone". They will use the same techniques , tools , methods and activities in their way of teaching which of course will lead him/her to be that boring kind of teacher. Student will enter the class and will be engaged with whatever the mean of entertainment rather than focus on the lesson.
But if the educator take risks and welcome the change, he might go further than before. He may lead his students to undiscovered areas in them and in him as well.
Change is what make us live in continuous excitement, willing for new areas , new opportunities.
And if we refer this to our ETCT diploma, I believe that because we need to be better teachers we decided to "change" and approach our students more.
This movie was a turning point in my career. Hope it will be the same for you

Ham and Haw are two different characters who represent most of us .Some resist change even if it is the only way .The others have the will to change .They are afraid of the maze or the unknown but gradually they find their way .It isn't an easy job. You have to develop yourself ,put guiding points for yourself to be the to- do- list , you have to achieve .At first you don't have to expect you will gain much but eventually you will do it and it will be the greatest surprise you have ever seen. However, if you reach your goal you have to keep it and help others to achieve theirs. Thanks Lina for this marvelous video I think it is not only an inspiration for you but also for all of us

DeleteHi Lina.First time to add a comment in your blog. You are totally right about "comfort zone".i belive it's the main reason for inhibting people from accept new ideas and one of the most barriers for making any change.I think we must be a little bit risk takers and give ourselvess the chance to "tryyyy" because trail won't kill us but it may make life better.Have a nice week end
