Leann Rimes and Brian Mcfadden - Everybody's someone

So if we treat every single student as "someone" who is full of feelings , emotions , likes and dislikes , hobbies, talents and his very own personality, we will reach what we were all talking about "touching their lives and make a change "

I personally like this song so much , because despite the meaning it holds, it also reminds me everytime I hear it of my own personal goal in teaching. My goal was to touch my students lives not only on vertical basis but also horizontal one, to affect them in a deep way making them more confident with their own selves. I hope I can really learn the lesson of "Eveybody's someone "

  1. This is the core of any education process. Educating students means giving them information besides morals . You become a model or an example for them.So there must be some social relations tie both teacher and his / her students. You have to be close to them , understand their thoughts , emottions and ideas. They will attach to you. If you keep yourself away from them , they will do the same .

    1. I agree with you Elham , but let me add something ... It is based on the age group of the students
As sometimes you only need the information from the teacher not to be your role model , yet it would be easier for him/her when he build nice relations with the students so they would accept the information easily .

  3. That is proved scientifically to be right. Every student has his or here way of learning and that theory is called The Multiple Intelligence. teachers should pay attention to the way every student prefers to learn to introduce the best activities to them.

    1. It is always the teacher's effort to pay attention as you said Fagr. Teachers who focus on their students' habits , hobbies and kind of intelligence are always those who reach directly their teaching objectives faster and easier than others.

  4. Imagine each time that you walk into the classroom that each person in front of you is wearing a name tag that says: "I am somebody: Please make me feel important! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video Lina and for showing us to link our learning to all that is around us!
